As a teacher of computing, I have come across blogging a lot recently. I want to be able to use blogs with my students next year, so am partly experimenting with that in mind. I also can see the potential to use a blog to share ideas and resources with other teachers of computing. While I find the NZIST listserve www.nzist.org.nz very helpful at times, if I do not save the emails I cannot refer back to them, and it is hard to keep topics of discussion organised.
So I am hoping that this might be the beginning of a useful online collaboration, perhaps drawing in the network of people around the country with whom I am in touch.
